2 tbsp coconut oil
1 white onion, chopped
8 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp thyme
2 cup carrots, chopped
4 cups bone broth
1 tsp salt
2 cups sweet potato, cubed
2 lbs lean ground turkey
cilantro for garnish
Heat your coconut oil in a medium pan. Add the onion and cook for a few minutes, until translucent.
Add the garlic and thyme and cook for another couple of minutes, stirring.
Add the carrots and sweet potatoes and onion mix to crock pot
Cook the ground beef in a skillet until thoroughly cooked throughout and browned.
Add to crock pot and let cook for 4-6 hours.
Serve each bowl garnished with avocado slices and fresh cilantro.
